Who we are
White Mountain Homestead was born from a desire to return to what matters most—family, purpose, faith, hard work, and connection to the land. After more than four decades devoted to education and leadership, I felt a strong pull toward building something tangible and enduring that reflects the values I have lived by: nurturing growth, honoring tradition, and creating meaningful experiences for others.
Homesteading, at its heart, is about stewardship—of the land, of skills passed down through generations, and of relationships within families and communities. White Mountain Homestead is an extension of that philosophy. It blends traditional homemaking practices such as food preservation, soap making, and herbal use with storytelling, education, and entrepreneurship. Each product is created with care, intention, and a deep respect for simplicity and sustainability.
The business is also deeply personal. As a parent of five and grandparent to thirteen, I want to model creativity, responsibility, and entrepreneurship for the next generation. White Mountain Homestead provides opportunities for children and grandchildren to participate as makers, learning practical skills, branding, and financial responsibility while contributing to something meaningful. It is not just a business—it is a living classroom and a family legacy in the making.
