Linda Green
About the Founder
White Mountain Homestead is the vision of a lifelong educator, homesteader at heart, and mother and grandmother who believes in the power of simple living and strong family connections. After more than forty years in education—as a teacher, principal, and instructional leader—she has dedicated her life to helping others grow, learn, and thrive.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, a master’s degree in early childhood education, an education specialist degree in educational leadership, and a doctorate in curriculum and instruction. Her work has always centered on people—students, families, and communities—and on the belief that learning happens best in environments filled with care, purpose, and meaningful experiences.
White Mountain Homestead grew from those same values. What began as a love for gardening, preserving food, and creating handmade goods has become a small family-centered business rooted in tradition, simplicity, and sustainability. Many of the ideas behind the homestead are inspired by childhood memories, years of family gatherings, and the desire to pass those traditions on to the next generation.
Today, White Mountain Homestead reflects both her professional life and her personal journey—a place where education, family, and the rhythms of homestead living come together.
